Facebook-owned Instagram has just shared their new update in New Policy about account disable the policy. Yeah, you heard right this policy develop for the user and ensure that Instagram is a very supportive platform for every user.
According to Instagram has received a lot of abuse in the past days for many disabling accounts without any prior notice. That’s why Instagram change the policy. Under these changes, they will quickly detect and remove those account that continually violates the Instagram policies.
The user also receives notifications if their Instagram account at risk of disabled for violating the community guidelines about pornography, bullying, nudity, drug sales, hate speech, harassment, and terrorism.
Instagram users will get the opportunity to appeal about the content and disable account but within the instagram app instead of through the Help Center.
They also said if a certain percentage of violating content in any Instagram account violating content, accounts will disable, “It will also remove accounts with a certain number of violations within a window of time” Similarly to how policies are enforced on its parent company Facebook.
Instagram say “we develop policies to ensure Instagram is a supportive place for everyone.”
